Today has been a battle with my son to eat and a reminder to myself that good nutrition is the fuel for my engine.
The engine has been running a little slow - too much stodge and not enough water.
The great thing about Dax's diets (http://www.londonpersonaltrainingstudio.com/ ) is that they really make you look at your fluid intake. I got to the point last year that i couldnt function without 4 litres of water a day. Yes that's a lot but the weight poured off me.
I've been here before on Hogmanay - it's real dejavu. I've made promises and here i am, still a size 16 - alberit a fitter, stronger size 16. I need to look not at my gym habits nor at my eating habits but at my thinking.
I know that when i got down to 12st 8 i was so delighted that i ordered a pizza, thinking - ah well, even if i gain weight, it wont matter because i've lost so much already. It's a dangerous spiral, so this is where Marissa Peer comes in. Her book works through the reasons you eat and helps you to see that you dont have to eat to work out your past pain. Today will be removing all the food that i wont be eating from tomorrow - all the Christmas chocs, crisps and biscuits in the bin.
As Dax says - if you don't own it, you won't eat it.
